Meeting on Anarjohka

Meeting on Anarjohka, a couple of large river boats meeting on the river.

Rest on one of our longer trips

Typical terrain in the higher parts of the Finnmark expanse.

Food preparation on overnight stays

On over night stays we might prepare our food this way.

Mountaineering

Walkabouts along the various trails in the Karasjok area. Day trips and overnight trips. We can stay at mountain cabins if you wish.

Boating trips

More and more people join us in our river boats on the rivers surrounding Karasjok. We have boats in different rivers, ready to be used on short notice. In the major river we can acommodate up to 40 passengers. In areas with rapids we can acommodate 5 to 15 passengers.

Canoeing

Slow flowing rivers, or rapids? The Tana river system has opportunities for all kind of canoeing. We can fetch you and your equipment and bring you upstream so you can have a nice trip downstream on your own.

Anarjohka National Park

Hidden, but not closed. Gumpegorzi/Wolf falls with a fall of 12 meters, quite the sight. We use river boats to rreach Cuhppolskaidi. On the Finnish side Lemmenjoki National Park. We walk across Cuhppolskaidi the last 5.5 kilometers to reach the falls. We can use the Andreas Nilsen cabin as a camp site for further exploration. Because of the distance we will need at least one overnight stay.
